At this time of year some people may travel or just stay at home for Thanksgiving. Most people have a Thanksgiving dinner with friends and family. Also, some people may have Thanksgiving traditions. One thing that my family does is travel, maybe just to my grandparents house who live really close or go all the way to Philadelphia. This year, I’m lucky enough to go to Philadelphia.
My family is traveling to Philadelphia for Thanksgiving break this year. I am very excited because I love spending time in Philadelphia. I love the community and seeing my family. This year we are going to the Rangers @ Flyers game which will be very exciting. I will also get to see my aunts, uncles, and my cousins that I haven’t seen in a long time! Usually, we only see this part of the family for Thanksgiving or the New Year. I love seeing them at this time of year not just because I get to spend time with them but my uncle always makes really good turkey.
Overall, I love this time of year because I get to travel, spend time with family that I don’t see very often, and watch football. I am very excited to go to Philadelphia and see my family. I guarantee that we will be watching the Eagles game because they are from Philadelphia, like my dad. I can’t wait to go to the Flyers game because it will be my first time at the Flyers Stadium, the Wells Fargo Center.
